Constantemente las personas son bombardeadas con noticias que las hacen sentir que el mundo se está acabando. Y aunque reportar los problemas es importante, en Tus Buenas Noticias creemos que existen más situaciones positivas que el mundo necesita encontrar y promover ampliamente. A continuación 20 buenas noticias del 2019.

De acuerdo con la publicación “I’m Honestly Fed Up With All The Bad News, So I Illustrated 50 Of The Best Ones From 2019”, el sitio Boredpanda publicó 50 ilustraciones (The Happy Broadcast) referentes a acontecimientos positivos que muestran que el mundo está mejorando poco a poco.

Theresa Kachindamoto (so formidable, she has been nicknamed “The Terminator”!) was determined to take a stand against the tradition which took teenage girls and made them wives and mothers long before the age of 18. Kachindamoto used her chief role to nullify more than 1500 child marriages since 2017, sending the girls who were married off before being able to complete their education back to school. She took a bold step towards ending poverty in Malawi, where a 2017 UN statistic suggested that about 45% of young girls are unable to remain in school past eighth grade. Seven eggs from the world’s last two remaining northern white rhinos have been successfully fertilized artificially, reviving hopes of saving the endangered animals. The world’s last male northern white rhinoceros, a 45-year-old named Sudan, died last year in Kenya, leaving only the two surviving female members, Najin and Fatu, of the species. The scientists said in a statement they had harvested 10 eggs from Najin and Fatu and that seven of those had been successfully matured and artificially inseminated. Circus Roncalli was founded in 1976 and began phasing out animal performances in the 1990s. Since 2018, the show has featured no live animals, turning instead to holographic projections with 360-degree visibility for spectators seated around the ring. The idea is that audiences can get the same sense of wonder they would watching exotic animals in a traditional circus act — plus the bells and whistles of CGI — but because the animals are only holograms, there’s no risk of actual living things being treated inhumanely between shows.
